How We Work — The Exell Electrical Process

Every job starts the same way: a clear conversation about what you're seeing, hearing, or concerned about. Whether a circuit breaker keeps tripping, your downlights are flickering, or you're planning an EV charger install, we ask the right questions upfront so we arrive with the right tools and materials — not guesswork.

On-site, we assess before we touch anything. For fault-finding jobs that means working methodically through the circuit — checking the switchboard, testing load, tracing the fault back to its source. For installation work like ceiling fans or power points, we confirm the existing wiring can handle the addition before committing to a scope. You get a quote you understand before we start.

Once work begins, we follow AS/NZS 3000 wiring standards throughout. Every completed job is tested and inspected — continuity, polarity, earth fault loop impedance where required — and we issue a Certificate of Compliance for any work that triggers one under NSW electrical safety rules. You keep that document; it matters at insurance time and when you sell the property.

Older properties often have ceramic fuse boards, undersized sub-mains, or unsheathed wiring that needs addressing before new loads can be added safely.
